Abattoir Manager

Join a leading name in the pork meat processing industry. The position is based on the West Rand. The company provides slaughtering services to pig farmers and provides high-quality carcasses to meat processors and fresh meat distributors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the abattoir.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage staff and resources effectively.
• Maintain and improve operational efficiencies.
• Implement and monitor food safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Proficient computer skills should be able to work on excel.
• Proven management experience for over 50 people for more than 3 years.
• Strong background in food safety.
• Essential experience in abattoir operations.
• Familiarity with the Meat Matrix system is a plus.
