Job Purpose:
To supply administrative, clerical, and professional support to the accountants by performing accounting, bookkeeping, and related tasks.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Processing of cashbooks
• Composition of creditors reconciliations
• Generating and compiling monthly rental invoices and statements
• Confirm and record payments according to rental lease agreement criteria
• Conduct analysis of water and electricity accounts for various landlords and tenants
• Generate and administrate monthly intercompany transactions
• Ensure correct GL and vendor accounts are utilised when processing invoices
• Assist with month end stock verification and GP %
• Investigate and respond to all relevant queries and request
• Assist with any additional ad-hoc tasks as required

Required qualifications and experience:
• Grade 12 including Certificate / Diploma in Bookkeeping, accounting or related field.
• 5 – 8 years related experience
• Pastel experience essential
• Manufacturing industry background will be an advantage
