JOB PURPOSE : Contribute to the company’s overarching goal of reaching over 300 business owners by efficiently managing tasks and delivering high-quality services to clients. By producing exceptional work and fostering positive client relationships, the incumbent will play a crucial role in generating word-of-mouth referrals, thereby supporting the company in acquiring new clients and ultimately achieving its target 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including processing supplier and customer invoices using Xero and SAGE Accounting, managing daily bank statement uploads and reconciliations, administering document filing systems, handling monthly depreciation and PAYE journals, generating management and VAT reports, managing payroll processes, reconciling petty cash reports, and submitting various tax reports and calculations. Additionally, tasks involve secretarial and compliance checks, creditor payments processing, preparation of trial balances and cost reports, attending meetings with directors and clients, liaising with tax authorities, handling CIPC annual submissions and registrations, maintaining financial statements, and conducting ad hoc duties as required.

Ability to demonstrate a practical knowledge of basic  and complex Accounting Tax and Secretariate duties.

Is deadline driven and achieve the companies goals Ability to work in a team, and participates in forward-looking activities .

3. Operational excellence

Producing monthly and quarterly management reports, participating in weekly meetings with both the Director and clients, and handling various adhoc duties.

Filling client documents,weekly secretarial checks, liaison with SARS agents, CIPC submissions and amendments and database updates.

Managing the work input and output of team of Intern Accountants, ensure thorough recorded reviews that the Accounting, Tax and Compliance work of Intern Accountants is accurate, technically correct, and free of error. 

Successfully processing payrol, submitting payrol reports and preparing relevent documents for the clients.

Processing invioces and documents, bank reconciliation, preparing cost reports and trial balances within the parameters set.

Completion of Tax reports, submissions and compliances.

Ensure that correct Accounting, Tax, and compliance principles are applied to each client assigned to you and interns in accordance with the prescribed standards.
