Job Details

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AFS and Reporting Coordinator to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial statements preparation, and reporting.
 
Responsibilities and Duties include:
  • Prepare accurate Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for clients in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate and review financial reports, ensuring they are accurate and completed timeously 
  • Implement and maintain accounting systems and databases to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide financial analysis reports as needed
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends to provide advisory services to clients.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve overall financial reporting processes.
 
Requirements and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  • Member of SAIPA/SAICA or CIMA 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, AFS preparation, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient in Draftworx and Xero
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deadline driven and detail focused. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
