JOB SUMMARY:
Develop a brand strategy to position the Company as the business partner of choice by developing and implementing a brand strategy to meet business objectives. Coordinate all marketing activities and initiatives of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
- Manage to build and maintain the Company’s brand equity, reputation, and business portfolio.
- Conduct market research to identify how the company brand is currently positioned in the market,and continually seek ways to improve brand visibility.
- Design and develop a company brand strategy by co-ordinating, and guiding marketing activities, and branded areas i.e. advertising, printed campaigns, branding, etc.
- Communicate the company brand internally / externally, by liaising between departments, management, and marketing agencies.
- Develop, implement and manage integrated, innovative direct marketing campaigns together with marketing agencies
- Stay up to date with external trends and keep the Company brand up to date.
- Manage and maintain the Company’s branded merchandise and corporate clothing.
- Manage all Company and marketing functions (i.e. newsletters), and social interactions with the public.
- Event coordination & management of events, oversee plans, budgets and liaison with suppliers
- Monitor social media
- Pursue relevant strategic alliances and sponsorship opportunities
- Web and intranet management together with marketing agencies
- Manage and control the marketing budget, strategic recommendation to the Manager
- Prepare the monthly marketing report
- Approve invoices / creditors to be paid through the clients system
- Oversee and generate briefs to agencies
- Approve and consult in creative work
- Attend to marketing queries / complaints
- Manage the quality of customer data (i.e email addresses) to ensure that data is up to date and relevant
- Custodian of all Company brands and develop / update new brands as the company grow
- Manage and drive all digital marketing efforts together with marketing agencies
- Support sales and lead generating efforts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Marketing / Communication Management (Degree or Diploma is essential?
- At least 3 – 5 years in this relevant field
- Exposure to the transport industry will be an advantage
- Understand business systems, practices, and processes
- Computer literate – MS Office (Excel is essential)
- Highly motivated with strong communication skills on all levels
- Presentation and Interpersonal skills required
- Must be creative with designing and editing skills
- Be analytical with strong attention to detail
