CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• You’ll be at the heart of optimising distribution operations, using top-tier planning software to track routes and drive real results.
• Plan and tweak routes daily, factoring in new customers, feedback, and next-day deliveries to keep everything running like clockwork
• Whip up daily reports on actual route performance, plus monthly KPI scorecards that spotlight wins and opportunities
• Spot cost-saving gems by analysing data and challenging the status quo in fleet mix, service days, and network models
• Monitor fleet KPIs, track vehicle reports, and jump into strategic optimisation projects like master route tweaks
• Tackle ad-hoc consulting tasks, collaborating on initiatives that sharpen the entire distribution game

REQUIREMENTS

• This entry-level spot calls for a results-driven mindset, sharp communication, and a knack for turning data into action – backed by solid logistics know-how.
• Degree in BCom Logistics, Road Transport Diploma, or BSc Engineering (or 3 years’ distribution industry experience)
• Intermediate Excel and Word skills, with a flair for data manipulation and analysis
• Clear, confident communication – verbal and written – to rally drivers, clients, and teams towards shared goals
• Supply chain understanding from study or hands-on exposure, plus comfort with Microsoft tools
• Proactive problem-solver who builds rapport, thinks innovatively, and thrives in a medium-paced environment with constant challenges
