Your Role Purpose:

The purpose of the Little Me Manager is to manage and build the Little Me brand, ensuring that the team provides and outstanding and inspiring in-store experience, where sales targets are continuously achieved or exceeded, customer interested is created, and there is return traffic to the store. The role oversees a team who offers relevant, helpful, and accurate product information, to assist customers in making purchasing decisions that address their baby’s needs. The Little Me Manager is responsible for effectively managing all in-store team leadership and management, stock, merchandising and operations activities to maximise sales, profitability and loss preventions.

What You Do Daily

  • Provide support and leadership to the team, empowering the team to participate in various activities within the store. Provide guidance and oversight pertaining to specific knowledge that will uplift the experience and sales in the store.
  • Manage the daily operations of the store, ensuring the smooth functioning of all in-store retail operations activities, namely sales, POS transactions, banking, cash ups, stock control and merchandising.
  • Communicate effectively and timeously with suppliers and investigate and/or escalate stock issues.
  • Oversee product merchandising. Maintain and outstanding store condition and adhere to visual merchandising standards.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met. Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve any areas of concern, such as cash losses, effectively and timeously.
  • Deliver reports and/or specific inputs, as required, timeously and accurately.
  • Take ownership of the in-store customer service. Resolve all escalated issues. Tour the sales floor regularly, engaging with colleagues and customers to proactively identify and resolve urgent issues.
  • Maintain and extensive knowledge of baby, toddler and related products to ensure the best service and advice is provided to our customers.
  • Ensure baby and toddler product knowledge is relevant and continuously aligned to new trends. Build your own and your team’s product knowledge through training, knowledge exchange and working with suppliers.
  • Selling and Sales Performance Management
  • Oversee all sales policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring the best in-store customer experience.
  • Manage and monitor the team’s sales performance. Ensure monthly sales targets are achieved or exceeded by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the team.

 

What Will Make You A Great Little Me Manager?

  • Grade 12, additional leadership courses and qualifications (Highly advantageous)
  • +3 Years’ exposure to retail
  • Must Love babies and toddlers!
  • Previous exposure to baby/toddler orientated services or sales (Essential)
