Job Summary:

The Parts Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling OEM automotive parts and accessories to dealerships, repair shops, and other customers within the automotive sector. The role requires a deep understanding of OEM products, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to meet sales targets in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate parts solutions.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate product information.
    • Process orders and ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Product Knowledge:

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OEM automotive parts and accessories.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products.
    • Provide technical support and product training to customers as needed.
  • Sales Targets:

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share.
    • Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Marketing and Promotion:

    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional activities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
  • Administration:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
    • Prepare regular sales reports for management.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor’s degree will be advatageous. 
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in parts sales within the automotive sector.
    • Experience with OEM parts and accessories is a must.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
    • Technical knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
