A diversified financial services group has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager to be responsible for overseeing a data-intensive position within the realm of digital marketing. The focus will be on optimizing advertising opportunities, lead generation, and converting leads into sales. This position entails significant numerical responsibilities, including negotiations with suppliers, partner management, and leadership of a team consisting of Leads Manager and Media Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and lead a team specializing in Digital and Media Marketing Operations, including junior staff, Leads Manager, and Media Manager.
  • Guide and mentor team members to achieve high performance and foster their skills.

Lead Generation:

  • Plan and deliver appropriate lead volumes to meet hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and annual targets within the realm of Digital and Media Marketing Operations.
  • Develop and enhance systems and reports to measure and manage the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns and channels in a media context.
  • Continuously refine measurement systems based on research, feedback, and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate across organizational boundaries as a member of senior management to advance overall goals and strategic initiatives, particularly in the sphere of Digital and Media Marketing Operations.
  • Effectively communicate with high-level executives in the advertising space, including TV networks, focusing on Digital and Media Marketing Operations strategies.

Operational Excellence:

  • Focus on operational efficiency, systems optimization, and analytics within the domain of Digital and Media Marketing Operations and Lead Generation in the digital marketing landscape.
  • Oversee the delivery of leads to the sales team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the context of Digital and Media Marketing Operations.

Customer Insights and Analytics:

  • Contribute to the development of deep customer insights through competitor analysis, with a specific focus on Digital and Media Marketing Operations.
  • Utilize analytics and customer insights to understand the performance of marketing strategies and inform decisions around marketing budgets, particularly within Digital and Media Marketing Operations.

Commercial and Expenditure Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget within the scope of Digital and Media Marketing Operations to optimize profitability and effectiveness of spend.
  • Negotiate prices and deals with all lead suppliers, including media owners and affiliates, concentrating on Digital and Media Marketing Operations strategies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a number-intensive role in Media Operations and Lead Generation within digital marketing.
  • Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and experience in partner management, particularly in the context of Digital and Media Marketing Operations.
    Leadership experience managing a team specializing in Digital and Media Marketing Operations and Lead Generation, with an emphasis on guiding and mentoring.
    Comfortable dealing with high-level executives in the advertising space.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on refining measurement systems and processes.
    Familiarity with enhancing systems and reports to measure lead generation effectiveness.

    Proven ability to manage marketing budgets and negotiate deals with lead suppliers within the realm of Media and Digital Operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in direct marketing and campaign management, of which at least 2 years must have been at the senior management level.
  • Structured thinker with close attention to detail.
    Strong numeric and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-driven individual.
  • A commercial and entrepreneurial bias.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry.
  • Operational experience in developing, implementing, and managing tailored direct marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Experience and knowledge regarding compliance and regulations within the context of direct marketing.
  • Senior management experience in effectively leading and managing a team. IN OFFICE – 07:30 – 16:30
