A revolutionary, web-based application that gives companies tools to manage every aspect of their share incentive plans is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to develop, manage, and roll out a comprehensive marketing plan, and own event management and client communication.

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

Marketing Strategy Development and Management:

  • Assist in developing, managing, and rolling out a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with management’s vision.
  • This includes overseeing both digital and other marketing initiatives.

Digital Marketing and Lead Generation:

  • Utilize digital marketing skills to generate leads.
  • This involves creating, tracking, and monitoring various marketing campaigns, digital ads, communications, media, and content plans.

SEO and Keyword Management:

  • Manage keyword research website SEO and provide reporting on these efforts to enhance online visibility and lead generation.

Digital Marketing Tools Proficiency:

  • Manage the company’s digital marketing efforts using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, G2, Google Ads, and LinkedIn, with a focus on analytics and creating leads for the sales team.

Brand Toolkit Development and Consistency:

  • Create and maintain a well-defined brand toolkit, ensuring consistent use across the organization, including media and visual assets.

Marketing Data Flow Management:

  • Implement and manage the flow of marketing data from tools like Salesforce and HubSpot to lead creation, ensuring effective data use.

Comprehensive Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use marketing tools to provide detailed reports on all digital campaigns and initiatives, including website and SEO performance, to management on an ongoing basis.

Event Management:

  • Manage and oversee marketing events and activities, such as conferences, trade shows, and webinars, from planning to execution.
  • This includes developing brand materials.

Client Communication and Content Creation:

  • Drive and manage client communication, including updates on new product features, email campaigns, and content creation in line with the brand voice.
  • This includes writing and editing articles, blogs, eBooks, infographics, and updating website content.

Conference Material Preparation:

  • Collaborate closely with senior management and clients to prepare research, presentations, and speeches for conferences.

Business Development Support:

  • Support the Business Development teams by providing tailored responses for prospects through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

Collaboration with External Design Teams:

  • Liaise with external design teams to create brochures, sales collateral, and messaging that align with the company’s marketing strategy and positioning.

REQUIREMENTS  

  • Minimum 5 years in marketing roles
  • Commerce Degree
  • Direct experience with Hubspot (and Salesforce).
  • Strong copywriting and editing background.
  • Strong design skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS company with direct digital marketing experience.
  • Experience with SEO and paid media.
  • Experience in developing, managing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Experience a high-growth business environment
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe InDesign, WordPress, etc.
  • Experience with research using data analytics software
