Job Details

A leading Footwear Manufacturer with offices based in Cape Town, is looking for a Brand Presentation Coordinator to: 

  • Present the brand at all Retail channels in accordance with company standards 
  • Ensure Global Marketing assets are adopted to local requirements 
  • Drive store traffic by optimizing controllable communication channels & touch points 
  • Monitor and measure return on marketing initiatives at inline & outlet   



Retail Marketing 

  • Manage Retail Marketing Game Plan (Inline, Outlet, Clearance). 
  • Coordinate with APAC Regional on GTM asset development/ adaptations for in store activation of key launches 
  • Manage all retail campaign executions, lead communications and follow up with the stores 
  • Ensure ISC (In Store Communication) is up-to-date and aligns with Global/ Regional direction 
  • Monthly key launch reports (photo recap, sell thru analysis) 
  • Management of new store opening, graphic adaptation & ISC to global guidelines 
  • Develop communication strategies inline with Marketing Manager to ensure we are relevant on relevant channels (on and offline) 
  • Conduct monthly store visits of O&O and competitor stores 
  • Coordinate with Retail Operations, Product Marketing on seasonal product flow to identify additional marketing opportunities 
  • Manage communication with shopping malls/ outlet centers to identity marketing/ opportunities (Social Media, in mall marketing) 
  • Explore new marketing opportunities to increase store traffic 
  • Coordinate in store execution of sales promotion (asset development, printing, delivery, installation) 
  • Management of O&O database and scheduled direct mail send outs, alongside Marketing 
  • Develop and drive initiatives to extend the Data Base (in coordination with Marketing) 
  • Design and execution of vouchers, sale material, flyer drops, regional newspaper adverts and print media bookings. 
  • Drive Global VM standards across all store formats. 

 Key Account Management 

  • Implementation of in store plans for footwear & apparel across all GBU’s for key wholesale partners. 
  • Co-ordinate campaign execution with key independent partners. 
  • Assist Account Manager with quarterly marketing plan inclusive of GTM adoption & execution. 
  • Manage National Sales Manager and Account Managers briefs against account schedules and sales objectives 
  • Ensure National Sales Manager & Account Manager and Marketing Manager input to strategy against commercial objectives.  

 KAP Sales Meetings & Events 

  • Campaign Asset adaptation and development of all other marketing material required by department, for events, conferences, workshops, seminars, i.e. event stand, retail execution, medical evenings, roadshows, regional branding maintenance and or all other promotional items used or to be developed to amplify campaign execution and brand management. 


Key Measures: 

  • Deliver on marketing activity schedules set against KPI’s within own retail and wholesale channels. BTL, TTL, ABL  
  • Assist to achieve brand sales performance and market share targets across GBU 
  • Assist with improved product sell through and consumer purchase intent across GBU 
  • Ensure all activities remain within the allocated marketing budget. 
  • Monthly store traffic comparison against previous year 


Outcome Statement: 

  • Ensure Marketing, Retail and Account Managers are fully supported in all ABL, TTL and BTL campaign and brand marketing initiatives in Own and Wholesale accounts against commercial objectives. 
  • Continuous management of suppliers being the primary contact between shopfitters, printers, couriers, branding company and retail suppliers ensuring the delivery and execution of collateral as required by marketing objectives and campaign deadlines, with global timings and guidelines. 
  • Ensure consistency of brand campaign execution and amplification with key independent and key accounts ABL/TTL/BTL 
  • Campaign in O&O retail activated on time & consistent with global asset execution & timings. 
  • Country Level alignment with GTM and VM standards 
  • All marketing channels optimized, and opportunities maximized 



  • Tertiary Education: Diploma minimum or Degree preferable within field 
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign programmes 
  • 5 years minimum working experience required. 
  • Efficient digital and social strategy skills and knowledge  
  • Project Management: Skilled at working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
