A dynamic, vibrant and growing cosmetics business is looking for an Operations Manager in the Front Office department who will be responsible for the overall management of the Member Collections Department and Bottleshop (condensed warehouse), to ensure that the company meets member expectations. They will plan, lead, guide, empower and create a positive and productive work environment for employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that members’ orders are ready for collection and upon collection, the member encounters a positive, professional and efficient experience. This environment can be akin to an exclusive Store experience within the Retail space
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Able to identify problems/concerns with execution of a duties and inform relevant parties
- Communicate between teams positively and confidently to achieve goals
- Consistently checks the detail and quality of every job they execute
- Able to delegate, convince and lead in order to meet business deliverables
- implement the company values and culture in the execution of duties and through interactions with all
- Able to compile and give feedback in a professional format to Senior Executives
- Able to investigate and execute appropriate disciplinary, performance and motivational measures in line with People Support policies
- Able to create a sensory customer experience with excellent service
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in the Retail Frontshop (cosmetics advantageous)
- Logistics Management / Bcom Marketing/ Bcom Business degree or equivalent tertiary qualification advantageous
- Knowledge of stock Management and ERP/MRP systems advantageous
- Strong Leadership and Analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Computer proficient MS Office, Word/Excel/Power Point
- Previous experience in focusing on the customer experience (Front shop experience)

- Must be computer Literate – excellent Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required and adaptability to learn inhouse web-based systems and more, as required
