We are looking for a diligent and motivated Supply Chain Planner to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a BCom in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field, and who is eager to grow their career in supply chain management. The Supply Chain Planner will support the Stock Control & Logistics Manager in various supply chain activities, including finance management, procurement coordination, inventory management, and logistics. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of independent work, and enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic, young team. Collaboration with colleagues across departments and external suppliers is essential.

 Key Responsibilities:

 Finance Management:

  • Handle supplier invoices and verify statements with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records related to supply chain transactions.
  1. Replenishment Planning:
  • Assist in order processing, manage receipts, and determine stock quantities to be ordered from suppliers.
  • Ensure that replenishment tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  1. Procurement Coordination:
  • Assist with placing orders with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that stock levels meet demand.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels.
  1. Logistics Coordination:
  • Work with logistics partners to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to address any shipping issues or delays.
  1. Reporting & Analysis:
  • Generate and analyze reports on key supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, lead times, and supplier performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve supply chain efficiency.
  1. Issue Resolution:
  • Assist in resolving supply chain issues, including shortages, delays, or quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Support the implementation of process improvements aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Participate in projects focused on optimizing supply chain operations.
  1. Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support to the supply chain team, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation required for supply chain activities.

 

Qualifications:

 Educational Qualification: BCom in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
