Senior Network Engineer

Picture this: you're the guardian of cutting-edge networks, wielding Palo Alto firewalls like a pro to keep everything secure, swift, and seamless. Dive into a role where you tackle complex challenges across data centres, remote sites, and cloud setups – all while shaping the future of network security in a fast-moving tech landscape.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep the network fortress rock-solid by configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls, from PA-Series to Panorama.

Roll out and monitor security policies, VPNs, and next-gen firewall magic to fend off threats

Handle upgrades, patches, and tweaks with zero drama – minimal downtime is your mantra

Run sharp performance and security checks to spot issues before they snowball

Jump into incident response, digging deep for root causes on network hiccups

Team up with IT crews on big projects like segmentation, cloud links, and infrastructure glow-ups

Master routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP for flawless traffic flow

Craft crystal-clear docs on architecture, processes, and procedures

Back up infrastructure everywhere – data centres, remote spots, and cloud realms

Lock in compliance with top security standards and smart practices

Step up as the go-to advisor, dishing out architecture smarts and design oversight

WHAT YOU BRING

A Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or something similar (or solid equivalent experience) gets you in the door.

3–5 years hands-on in network engineering, with proven Palo Alto firepower (PA Series, Panorama)

Rock-solid grasp of protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs

Hands-on with monitoring tools – think Wireshark, SolarWinds, SNMP

Know-how on security benchmarks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS (network security experience is a big win)

NICE-TO-HAVES

Palo Alto certs like PCNSA or PCNSE? You're golden

Cloud networking chops in AWS or Azure, especially hybrid setups

Automation flair with Python or Ansible for streamlining ops

Bonus points for Cisco ASA, Fortinet, or SD-WAN know-how

THE VIBE

Bring sharp analytical skills and problem-solving grit, plus top-notch communication to chat tech with anyone. Thrive solo or in a squad, stay organised amid the buzz, and handle fast-paced action like a champ. Occasional after-hours or on-call shifts keep things exciting, with limited travel to remote sites when needed.

Ready to lock down networks and level up your engineering game?
