GIS Analyst

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Get hands-on with spatial magic in a fast-paced environment focused on cutting-edge transport tech.
- Gather requirements for fresh spatial products and operational analyses that drive real-world transport solutions
- Clean, wrangle, and document spatial, tabular, and quirky data sources, sticking to top-notch best practices
- Design, build, and tweak mapping products and analysis layers using Esri GIS tools as your playground
- Integrate GIS and diverse data into proprietary software systems and slick dashboards
- Help shape geodatabases, schemas, and data standards for rock-solid reliability
- Build, automate, and manage GIS infrastructure to fuel geospatial analytics and ops support
- Oversee QA/QC on geospatial outputs, ensuring everything's consistent and trustworthy
- Create standout deliverables like ESRI Storymaps, dynamic maps, dashboards, and crisp reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, or a kindred field
- 3+ years of academic chops with some pro exposure in GIS, data analysis, or similar
- Hands-on know-how with ESRI ArcGIS Suite, QGIS, or equivalent GIS software
- SQL mastery (or similar database lingo) for querying big datasets
- Solid grasp of geospatial essentials: projections, shapefiles, file geodatabases, GeoJSON, and more
- Experience tackling complex analyses on hefty datasets
- Track record crafting maps, dashboards, and presentations for wide audiences
- Sharp problem-solving, accountability, and tech documentation skills
- Comfort collaborating across continents, cross-functional squads, and sales teams from six industries
- Independent streak: spot needs, deliver updates, and keep projects on track
