As a Collections Agent, you'll be the sharp-minded hero keeping payments flowing smoothly in a vibrant, tech-driven environment buzzing with innovation and customer focus.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Jump into the action each day, tackling slow-payer and non-payer accounts with smart strategies to collect and rehabilitate them effectively.
  • Chase down unpaid debit orders from RC Funding and partners via Omni Queues – device, EFT, MCA, you name it.
  • Follow up relentlessly on diarized accounts and log every call meticulously on 3CX while actioning cases in Salesforce.
  • Trace those hard-to-reach customers and update all new details right away to keep records spot-on.
  • Handle settlement requests swiftly through Omni, Salesforce, and direct emails to customers.
  • Prep legal handover packs, assist with weekly debit order change reports, and notify teams for suspensions, refunds, cancellations, and
  • allocations.
  • Stay laser-focused on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and risk management in line with banking standards, FICA regs, and internal policies.
  • Apply your regulatory know-how daily, escalate issues promptly, and keep everything above board.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bring 2-4 years in collections, admin, or processing – banking experience is a big plus in this high-energy setup.
  • Rock-solid computer skills, with Salesforce CRM as a bonus, plus proficiency in debt collection software and databases.
  • Advanced MS Office chops, especially Excel, to crunch data and stay on top of payments.
  • Thrive in pressurised, fast-changing scenes with multitasking magic, a proactive can-do vibe, and methodical precision.
  • Nail conflict resolution and negotiation to win over payments, backed by crisp written notes and smooth verbal skills for customers and colleagues.
  • Minimum Matric (Grade 12); post-secondary quals give you an edge.
