CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Tackle a portfolio of high-risk claims head-on, balancing razor-sharp quality with lightning-fast resolutions that keep clients happy and cases moving.
Manage overdue and high-risk claims from across portfolios, stepping in to deliver results when it counts
Guide junior team members with hands-on advice, building a stronger team along the way
Handle client queries and complaints with empathy and expertise, turning potential issues into positive outcomes
Work every angle of a claim – from investigation to closure – hitting tight turnaround times without cutting corners
Smash daily targets and deliverables, ensuring performance aligns with company standards and Policy Protection Rules
Drive efficiency in civil, labour, and specialised claims like insurance, motor vehicle, medical negligence, property disputes, repossessions, and actions against the state
REQUIREMENTS
Bring your LLB and proven track record to the table – this is for legal pros ready to thrive in high-pressure claims handling.
LLB qualification as your foundation
At least 1 year managing a full claims portfolio, covering civil and labour matters
Bonus if you've drafted pleadings, navigated High Court rules, taxed legal costs, or prepared bills of costs
Rock-solid knowledge of claims procedures, especially in labour, insurance, motor vehicle, medical negligence, property owner disputes, repossessions, and state actions
Excellent listening and communication skills to connect with clients and colleagues
Adaptable mindset, top problem-solving chops, high EQ, and a customer-first approach
Consistent high performer with a history of smashing KPIs
