Role Overview
As a Junior Project Planner, you will support construction and infrastructure projects by assisting in the development, analysis and maintenance of CPM schedules under the guidance of senior team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6.
- Analyse drawings, contracts and project documentation to build accurate baseline programmes.
- Update schedules with progress data and produce clear, structured narratives.
- Conduct critical path and float analysis.
- Identify schedule risks, delays and recovery opportunities.
- Perform schedule health checks and logic reviews.
- Support earned value and performance reporting where required.
- Communicate findings clearly to internal leads and client stakeholders.
- Ensure schedules align with contractual and execution requirements.
Experience & Profile
- 1-3 years in construction, engineering, or project controls.
- Exposure to scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred).
- Relevant degree or diploma in construction, engineering, project management, or similar.
Key Expectations
- Support senior project planners on baseline builds and updates.
- Assist with data capture and progress tracking.
- Develop proficiency in CPM logic and schedule analysis.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and learning agility.
Technical Requirements
- Strong Primavera P6 capability.
- Solid understanding of CPM methodology.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to interpret drawings, scopes and contractual milestones.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
