KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and grow strategic relationships across the construction, HVAC, fire and smoke extraction value chain
Drive a structured communication approach with prospects, clients and professionals – from first contact through to project handover
Interpret technical drawings, ventilation layouts and schematics to support accurate proposals and confident client discussions
Shape client strategies and account plans to target the right decision-makers on the right projects
Provide strong technical sales leadership, guiding and motivating a team in a highly competitive environment
Prepare and manage sales tenders, project proposals and professional reports
Compile and review costing sheets and ventilation design proposals to ensure commercial viability and technical accuracy
Collaborate closely with internal technical and design teams to align solutions with project requirements and standards
Represent the company at site meetings, presentations and industry events as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Marketing or Sales qualification advantageous
Solid computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
AutoCAD experience for reading and engaging with technical drawings
Background in Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC), smoke extraction or related building services is highly advantageous
Strong technical aptitude – comfortable with schematics, plans and engineering terminology
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (negotiable)
Willingness to travel to clients, sites and professional practices
Confident communicator, able to engage credibly with engineers, architects, QS’s and contractors
Proven track record in technical sales management and/or leading sales teams
