Kreston SA is seeking highly motivated Accounting Sciences graduates to join our Pretoria office as SAICA Trainee Accountants for our 2027 intake.

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will receive broad exposure to audit, accounting, taxation, and advisory services while developing the competencies required to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (SA).
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements
- Assisting with the preparation and review of annual financial statements
- Performing substantive testing and analytical review procedures
- Evaluating internal controls and identifying areas of business risk
- Assisting with accounting and taxation assignments
- Preparing audit working papers and maintaining accurate audit documentation
- Developing an understanding of client businesses, industries, and operating environments
- Participating in client meetings and communicating professionally with client personnel
- Ensuring compliance with applicable auditing, accounting, taxation, and regulatory standards
- Building professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Taking ownership of personal development and progression throughout the SAICA training programme

Minimum Requirements
- BCom Accounting Sciences, or equivalent SAICA Accredited undergraduate degree
- SAICA-accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA), CTA, Honours, or currently completing the qualification
- Strong academic record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
