Yes this is an excellent idea. The only idea really. Having your CV on record with me means I can effectively find companies that are looking for what you can offer. Without your CV, I am at a loss.

I can do this with one piece of information - your job description! No need to type in key words or use boolean items like "AND" and "OR" ... just your job description. I then search my file cabinet, 42 global file cabinets (also called databases) and then I look at all thousands of applications and screen those for you!
