National Merchandise Assistant – Cape Town

QUALIFICATION

• Matric / Grade 12 is a minimum requirement 

EXPERIENCE

• A minimum of 3 years Warehouse/ POS merchandising experience is required
• Must have a valid code 8 driver’s license

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist National Merchandise Controller with the coordination, tracking, and assuring delivery of all point of sale to regional branches and 3^rd party partners

• Assist in managing point of sale for activations and promotions with 3^rd party suppliers
• Assist tracking of all point of sale via the POS Asset Management system
• Assist in communicating with regional Merchandise Controllers/ Sales Managers regarding new Point of sale
• Responsible for inter branch transfers
• Assist the National Merchandise Controller with communicating with 3^rd parties regarding collection, deliveries or repair of elements
• Assist with critical collection & deliveries
• Collation of campaign POS from suppliers at National Warehouse
• Assist to review merchandising suppliers and processes
• Ensuring increased efficiencies with suppliers and 3^rd party partners
• Share Point of Sale with Snell regions and 365 On Point clearly identified list of elements by campaign On POD’s
• Copy of signed POD’s to be maintained
• Assist in informing and supporting the marketing and regional sales team on merchandise & stock
• Assist in managing the availability and status of campaign Point of Sale delivery & deadlines
• Maintain the safe keeping of merchandise & stock ensuring a clean storage environment
• Monthly stock take of all National Warehouse Point of Sale
• Maintain clean company vehicle and conduct monthly inspections
