Finance Executive

SPECIFICATION

Take full responsibility for the financial health of the business, producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research. Offer insights and financial advice and guidance to senior executives in making informed and best business long and short – term decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations in the business, such as invoicing, payroll, and other financial transactions and manage budgets
• Track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
• Predict future financial trends
• Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
• Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk to the business
• Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings
• Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
• Make the directors aware of all law and legislation relevant to or affecting the sector and report failure to comply with such law or legislation

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance, business, economics, or a related field
• Experience in finance role; superior analytical skills; leadership skills and experience; employee management;
• Superior understanding of data privacy standards; solid communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Communicating and influencing at Board level.
