About the Role
We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Junior to Intermediate Linux System Administrator to join our company. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting and administrating within our IT infrastructure, providing exceptional customer support, and implementing periodic call-outs related to installations and support.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Minimum 2 years Linux Experience
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Writing and maintaining documentation
  • KVM and related technologies
  • Red Hat/CentOS based systems
  • Valid driving license and own transport
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours (we have
  • 24/7 infrastructure that should ideally run without fail)
  • Matriculation
  • Red Hat certification or Linux Professional Institute certification.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installing and maintaining CentOs/Red Hat/ Almalinux environements.
  • System maintenance (Configuring and updating software, analysing unprocessed log data).
  • Process automation and configuration management.
  • Research, testing and implementation of new solutions and technologies.
  • Assist and guide clients with OS/software installations and configuration.
  • Travel to clients for physical server installations.
