2KG Engineering (Pty) Limited is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to help grow our diverse portfolio of initiatives. We develop bespoke software solutions for mechanical engineering industry, deliver technical training courses for engineers, and run a non-profit focused on skills development. We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity, strategy, and digital expertise to amplify our impact across these areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for software products, training courses, and non-profit initiatives
- Create compelling content (social media posts, brochures, email campaigns, press releases) tailored to different audiences
- Manage and grow our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Design and run campaigns that build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement
- Collaborate with engineers, trainers, and staff to translate technical and social impact work into accessible messaging
- Identify target markets and track campaign performance to optimise results.
Requirements
- Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in technical, training and/or nonprofit sectors
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Excellent communication and content creation skills (visual and written)
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt messaging for both technical and community-focused audiences
