Role

A global protective services provider is looking for a Project Coordinator to plan, monitor and report on a large number of protective services projects running internationally and locally. This role is client-facing, operationally demanding, and suited to someone who is calm under pressure, commercially sharp, and able to hold multiple moving parts together without losing control of detail.

This is not a standard office role. Operational timelines are tight, decision-making carries real consequences, and workdays sometimes extend beyond conventional hours due to the nature of protective operations.

The Project Co-ordinator is responsible for end-to-end coordination of protective service tasks, ensuring seamless integration between planning, execution, and post-operation close-out. You will act as the central link between the client, GSOC, and operational teams on the ground related to communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate protective service projects from initial planning through execution and completion
  • Liaise directly with clients, ensuring clarity, confidence, and professional control at all times

  • Prepare quotes, costings, and operational scopes, aligned with client needs and risk profiles

  • Oversee and maintain clear communication between:

    • Operational teams on the ground

    • GSOC

    • Clients and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor project progress, manage changes, and address issues decisively

  • Compile documentation, reports, and compliance records

  • Manage invoicing and financial close-out accurately and on time

  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships while protecting operational integrity.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in project coordination, ideally within protective services, security, risk, or similarly high-stakes environments

  • Exceptionally organised, with the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities

  • Comfortable working extended and irregular hours when operational demands require it

  • Strong interpersonal skills: client-focused but firm, confident, and unflappable

  • Commercially aware and detail-driven, particularly around quoting and invoicing

  • Emotionally resilient, composed under pressure, and able to make sound judgments quickly

  • Professional, discreet, and sophisticated in communication and conduct

What This Role Requires

  • Mental toughness and emotional intelligence

  • Absolute reliability and discretion

  • A balance of client diplomacy and operational authority

This role suits someone who thrives where the stakes are high, expectations are exacting, and performance matters.
