Job Details
We are seeking a self-driven Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth across its agricultural
business. The role is responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities, strengthening strategic
customer and principal relationships, and providing commercial leadership across sales, pricing, and market expansion
initiatives. The successful candidate will operate at a strategic level, converting market insight into actionable growth
strategies while ensuring disciplined execution through the sales and marketing functions. This position requires strong
technical credibility in agriculture, sound commercial judgment, and the leadership presence to represent the company with
customers, principals, and industry stakeholders locally and internationally.
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Education
• 10–15 years of progressive experience within the feed additives sector
• M.Sc. (Agric.) qualification and registration as Pr. Sci. Nat.
• An MBA is highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience achieving commercial results through technical sales, marketing, and business
management initiatives

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Development
• Business Growth: Drive new business development initiatives and identify strategic geographies for expansion.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive product and market analyses to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage pricing structures to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Launch Support: Work with sales and marketing teams to introduce new products or solutions effectively to target markets.
Sales & Account Management
• Sales Leadership: Oversee sales targets, performance reporting and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with agents.
• Key Account Management: Manage strategic client relationships and coordinate specialised customer-facing activities.
• Strategic Liaison: Cultivate key institutional partnerships to advance brand positioning and global engagement
Brand & Marketing Execution
• Brand Stewardship: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to strengthen and protect the company brand.
• Campaign Leadership: Lead marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives and new product launches to drive brand visibility and business growth.
