Ready to lead engineering transformation at a global precision manufacturing powerhouse? This role brings together strategic leadership, technical excellence, and operational mastery across engineering, maintenance, and toolroom functions. You’ll shape how advanced mechanical components are designed, produced, and continuously improved for markets across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a senior leadership position where you’ll drive manufacturing excellence and innovation across multiple departments. You’ll own product data integrity, process compliance, and the relentless pursuit of efficiency gains. Your vision will define how the team supports clients’ technical requirements whilst building competitive advantage through smarter processes and preventative systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering

  • Maintain accurate Product Master Data and ERP configuration (SAP) to enable cost-effective, reliable manufacturing
  • Ensure production processes align with industry standards and group requirements
  • Develop and champion innovative programmes that boost throughput and reduce costs
  • Liaison with local and international clients to translate their requirements into manufacturing reality
  • Lead technical investigations and support process development across the shop floor
  • Manage CAPEX proposals and cost-saving initiatives to improve production capacity
  • Lead cross-functional engineering projects to completion
  • Maintenance & Toolroom
  • Serve as Competent Person for Supervisor of Machinery (GMR 2.1)
  • Provide full management oversight of maintenance and toolroom departments
  • Drive preventative maintenance culture towards TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Ensure maintenance and toolroom service levels support manufacturing requirements
  • Develop preventative systems for press tool availability and equipment uptime
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Define departmental vision and goals aligned with company objectives
  • Foster cross-functional teamwork and communication across the organisation
  • Build expert leadership capabilities within your team
  • Enforce safe, collaborative working culture throughout
  • Lead projects with accountability for closure and results

WHAT YOU BRING

  • B.Eng or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (GCC advantageous)
  • 10-15 years working experience with at least 5 years in senior management
  • Non-negotiable: hands-on exposure to machining processes and/or assembly operations
  • Project management capability
  • SAP/ERP experience advantageous
  • Fluent English communication
  • Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and operational excellence
