CORE FOCUS OF THE ROLE
Drive new business across a powerful software and services portfolio, working with decision-makers such as business owners, Financial Managers, CFOs, and Operations Executives. Expect plenty of variety, from strategic discussions about process optimisation to showcasing clever automation tools that free teams from manual chaos.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities across target markets
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and partners
- Conduct impactful product presentations and live software demonstrations
- Understand customer business processes and uncover improvement opportunities
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and sales documentation
- Own and manage the sales pipeline and CRM, keeping activity and forecasts on point
- Collaborate closely with consulting and implementation teams during project handover
- Attend customer meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry exhibitions
- Work with marketing on lead generation, campaigns, and targeted outreach
- Consistently achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Develop strategic relationships with business partners and referral networks
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the broader solution stack

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record in software, ERP, SaaS, or technology sales
- Strong history of identifying, developing, and closing new business
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable engaging at management and C-level
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Strong organisational and administrative discipline, with solid follow-through
- Ability to juggle multiple deals, priorities, and timelines
- Experience in a fast-paced consulting or technology environment
- Good understanding of business processes and how software solves operational challenges
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals, and structured sales documentation
- Able to work collaboratively with consulting, development, support, and project teams
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as needed
- Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge or sales experience with mid-market ERP or accounting solutions
- Exposure to production, manufacturing, or fixed asset software
- Experience selling AI, automation, reporting, or workflow tools
- Existing network in finance, operations, manufacturing, distribution, or SME segments
- Confident delivering software demonstrations to business audiences
- Familiarity with business process improvement and digital transformation projects
