The Role

 

We are expanding our commercial sales team and require a highly technical LED Sales Specialist.

 

This is not a retail electronics position. You will be acting as a consultant and channel manager for our integration partners. Your primary objective is to help our partners spec, pitch, and win large-scale commercial LED projects—from corporate boardroom video walls to massive curved outdoor digital signage displays.

 

You will be joining a high-performing, structured sales team where pipeline accuracy, CRM discipline, and technical execution are paramount.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Management: Develop, manage, and grow relationships with B2B system integrators and AV resellers.
  • Technical Scoping: Assist partners in translating end-user requirements into precise technical bills of materials (BOMs), selecting the right pixel pitches, cabinets, and processing hardware (e.g., Unilumin, Novastar) for the environment.
  • Project Alignment: Collaborate directly with Skyco’s internal project management and installation teams to ensure quotes accurately reflect site complexities and rigging requirements.
  • Pipeline & KPI Discipline: Maintain a highly accurate, live pipeline in our CRM. You will be measured against strict KPIs and rewarded through a structured, transparent commission tier system.
  • Partner Enablement: Keep your integration partners educated on the latest OEM roadmaps and LED technologies.

 

Requirements 

  • 3+ Years of Pro-AV / IT Distribution Experience: You must have a proven track record in B2B channel sales. (Please note: Retail consumer electronics experience will not be considered for this role).
  • Technical LED Fluency: You must possess a deep understanding of LED infrastructure, including pixel pitch calculations, power/data topologies, and sending/receiving card configurations.
  • Channel Expertise: You understand the VAD ecosystem. You know how to protect partner margins, navigate long B2B sales cycles, and support an integrator without overstepping to the end-user.
  • Process Driven: You are comfortable working under structured sales methodologies, maintaining accurate forecasts, and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
