Senior Field Service Technician

Diesel Mechanic | Forklift Technician | Mobile Equipment | Hydraulics | Auto Electrical

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to join our growing team.

We operate and maintain a modern rental fleet of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (Boom Lifts, Cherry Pickers and Scissor Lifts), Forklifts, Telehandlers and Company Vehicles.

Work on premium equipment from leading manufacturers including JLG, Genie, Niftylift, Manitou, Toyota, Nissan and Isuzu in a modern workshop and field service environment.

Previous MEWP experience is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from qualified technicians with experience on earthmoving equipment, forklifts, telehandlers, trucks, agricultural machinery or other mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain our rental fleet and company vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and auto electrical faults
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and safety checks
• Attend workshop and on-site breakdowns
• Prepare equipment for hire and carry out pre-delivery inspections
• Complete job cards and service reports
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service

Requirements

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic, Forklift Technician, Millwright, Auto Electrician or equivalent trade
• Proven post-trade experience
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and auto electrical diagnostic skills
• Good diesel engine knowledge
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s licence
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
