Temp Accountant: (Parental Leave Cover)

We are one of the country’s leading fruit exporters.  We are recruiting for an Accountant for a temporary position to cover Parental Leave from September 2026 to March 2027 (7 months). This vacancy offers a challenging opportunity to a dynamic individual, who is motivated by a fast-paced, high performance environment.

Reporting to the Financial Manager: Reporting you will be based at our Head Office in Tyger Valley Area.

Minimum knowledge & experience required to perform this job competently:
Education & Experience:

• Formal tertiary accounting qualifications with at least 3-5 years’ accounting work experience – preferably in the FMCG, Fruit and/or primary agricultural industry.

Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):

• KPA’s will include (but are not limited to) the following essential responsibilities
• Processing vendor transactions, including resolution of outstanding queries
• Processing of weekly payments of vendors and operating expenses
• Account Payable Vendor Recons
• Accurate and timely General Ledger Recons
• Accurate and timely month end processes & reporting
