In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining smooth HR operations, acting as the primary point of contact for tasks ranging from onboarding to organising workplace events and supporting various HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and maintain all employee documentation: employment contracts, onboarding packs, collect documentation and keeping our HR systems up to date
Coordinate and schedule interviews, screen CVs, and assist with the recruitment pipeline
Assist with payroll documentation
Plan and execute internal events, wellness days, and team building activities that keep our culture vibrant and connected
Assist with identifying training needs and coordinating learning sessions, workshops, and external programs
Track employee training records and help implement development plans
Support Employment Equity administration, including document preparation and coordination of committee meetings
Help ensure HR practices align support for disciplinary processes, grievance tracking, and documentation of meetings
Ensure accurate and confidential filing of IR matters
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
A qualification in HR or a related field
What are we looking for:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Have a good understanding of HR legislation, employment equity, training and development
A passion for creating a positive, engaging workplace culture
Great communication skills and a people-first mindset
