SPECIFICATION

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1.            Fundraising activities

• Write fundraising strategy and specific implementation plan for every funding stream.
• Develop roadmap for every funder.
• Improve funder communication.
• CRM will assist with donor management.

2.            Marketing activities

• Increase marketing via web-site, radio talks, social media, booklets and other marketing material. 
• Try and obtain cause-related marketing, which increases marketing but also funds and increases brand authority.
• Review all marketing material.

3.            Collaboration

• Where necessary and possible to increase reach and impact, but not requiring additional capacity. 

 

REQUIREMENTS              

• Experience as a fundraiser 3-5 years – within the corporate sector with corporate connections
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed. “Can Do” attitude a must!
• Knowledge of BBBEE framework
