Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled all round SAP Business One Consultant to work remotely from South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting SAP Business One solutions for a variety of business needs. This role demands a deep understanding of business processes, systems integration, and a strong technical foundation in SAP B1 and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement customizations using BPA, SDK, and MSSQL.
• Configure core modules such as Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, MRP, Production, and Service.
• Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and SAP Business One consultants to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Reports and Microsoft BI
• Manage API integrations between SAP Business One and our web application, including designing, implementing, and troubleshooting API connections.
• Manage database tasks, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Create and implement integrations with external software systems to streamline operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure the stability and performance of SAP Business One.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance SAP Business One implementations.
• Create functional specifications for custom development, reports, and integrations.
• Conduct business requirements analysis and process mapping with stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Deliver training and post-go-live support to end users.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in SAP Business One leaning more towards the technical; dealing with tools BPA, SAP Business One SDK (Software Development Kit) & Crystal Reports.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing API integrations, including experience with REST or SOAP APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
• Experience in creating and customizing reports using SAP Business One, using Crystal Reports and Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of MSSQL and experience with database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients in the UK and South Africa.
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be optimized using SAP Business One.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with SAP HANA.
• Experience with Postman
• Knowledge of integrating third-party software or applications with SAP Business One.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
