SPECIFICATION
The main purpose of the role is to interact with guests to create memorable guest experiences. Furthermore, mix ingredients, prepare, and serve beverages to guests in accordance with the Restaurant’s standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests and provide them with a beverage menu
- Interact with guests and take any beverage orders
- Inform guests of specials on various beverages
- Regularly attend to guests in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ability to mix ingredients and prepare cocktails or other beverages as per the Restaurant’s standard beverage recipes
- Ability to serve beverages to guests
- Inform guests of hotel activities, dining options and general hotel information
- Suggest and upsell various beverages
- Prepare inventory and advise the Restaurant Manager accordingly
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Open and maintain bar tabs throughout the shift
- Collect payment and issue receipts
REQUIREMENTS
- Min Grade 12
- Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work well in a team
- Flexible and co-operative
