Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support academic research, digital content creation, and general administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone with strong research capabilities, a creative eye for design, and excellent organisational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth academic research and summarise findings clearly (with zero to minimum use of AI).
- Assist in the creation of visually appealing website mailers and social media content (graphics, layouts, posts).
- Manage content calendar and maintain organised digital files.
- Draft and proofread communications, reports, and manage admin tasks.
- Draft & Design Business Profiles, promote service offerings, etc.
- Collaborate remotely with business partner and respond promptly to requests.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in academic research or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools and Website (e.g., Canva, Wix Marketing Tools).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Tech-savvy with familiarity in productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Trello, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in academia, communications, or digital marketing.
- Experience managing social media accounts or websites.
