Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior SEO & Content Strategist to lead the charge in driving measurable organic growth across multiple product verticals. This is a strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives on performance, precision, and creativity not just keyword stuffing or blog post writing. You will work closely with the company’s founder and be the key owner of all things SEO, content strategy, and organic acquisition. From deep-dive audits to writing content that ranks and converts, your mission is to boost visibility, engagement, and inbound leads

Remote – Full-Time – South Africa Only

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading comprehensive SEO audits: technical, on-page, and site architecture
  • Designing and executing full-funnel keyword strategies by product or service line
  • Creating, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing content (landing pages, blog posts, product copy)
  • Improving website speed, crawlability, and overall Core Web Vitals performance
  • Managing content and site layout directly in WordPress (Bricks Builder experience is advantageous)
  • Monitoring and reporting on performance using tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4
  • Building strong internal linking structures and improving content silos
  • Collaborating with leadership, design, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with business and lead generation goals

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–10 years of hands-on SEO experience, either in-house or agency-side
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO, keyword strategy, and on-page optimization
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in fluent, persuasive, native-level English
  • Confident working in WordPress (especially with modern page builders like Bricks)
  • Skilled at managing the full content lifecycle: from research to publishing and performance tracking
  • Familiar with UX/CRO fundamentals and how content fits into broader conversion funnels
  • Strategic thinker who prioritizes intent and impact over search volume alone
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, flat-structured team
