SPECIFICATION
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company specialising in foam products, is looking to employ a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative that will market and sell (B2B) the company’s products and services directly to prospective clients while building and maintaining healthy, long-term relationship with them.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop profitable new business opportunities while achieving sales targets;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients;
- Develop new sales leads and build a database of potential clients;
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs;
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals successfully;
- Travel daily within the KZN province to meet clients and promote the company’s products;
- Work closely with internal team, including logistics and production, to ensure timely delivery of products;
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies;
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance data;
- Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities;
- Keep up to-date records for all existing and prospective client interactions on company’s systems.
- Prepare detailed and professional written proposals and quotations where applicable;
- Ensure a professional sales approach is followed at all times;
Key Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the KZN area
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and handle physical tasks as needed
- Physically fit to meet job demands
- Well-mannered, outgoing, and able to build strong relationships with customers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable to working independently
- Display an understanding and knowledge of the product and industry
- Business Writing skills
- Confident communicator both over the phone and in writing
- Strong sales approach including negotiating, handling objections and closing a deal
- The ability to resolve problems with clients and arrive at decisions which allow the business to move forward
- Actively participate in team meetings and use your market knowledge to sell products effectively
- Ability to work in team orientated environment and contribute in a positive manner
- Ability to work independently and self-managed
- Show Initiative and be professional at all times
