24/7 Security Services has a vacancy for an Operations Manager with extensive experience within the Security Environment. This person would be based at 8 Philo Road, Wynberg.
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that contract specifications, personnel, and equipment are effectively managed, interacts with clients on service delivery, and always provides resolution of issues.
The following criteria will be our basis for selection:
•Posting of all operational personnel.
•Timesheet management and distribution.
•Disciplinary management of operational personnel.
•Contract specification compliance.
•Uniform management.
•Equipment management.
•Incident investigation and feedback.
•Report writing.
•Meeting management – site and operations meetings.
•Site risk analysis and standard operating procedure compliance.
•Client liaison and problem resolution.
•Manage operations personnel HR and related matters.
•Site visits and audits – all hours.
•Supervisor tasking and management.
•Attending disciplinary hearings.
Required qualifications and experience:
• PSIRA registered Grade A security training.
• Formal academic security management certificate.
• General management qualification as an added advantage.
• Minimum five (5) years of security operations management experience.
• Experience in implementing and enforcing compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Security investigation experience.
•Must have own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
