Job Details
The main purpose of the role is to supervise and manage the shifts in the Restaurant, alongside providing
support and guidance to personnel to ensure successful, smooth running of operations, resulting in a positive
guest experience in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Duties Includes but are not limited to:
Assist in supervising the day-to-day function of all guests and employees
Assist in controlling & analyzing on an ongoing basis, the following qualities, guest satisfaction, operating equipment, service standards and cleaning & hygiene
Assist in supervising and coordinating prompt, efficient and courteous serving during service
Establish and maintain effective employee relations
Assist in managing of stock and stock taking as per the standard operating procedure
Assist in coordinating formal training plans and conduct on the job training sessions
Handle guest complaints courteously and efficiently
Be visible on the floor and attend to guests needs and requests
Ensure constant and effective communication between the Kitchen and Front of House
Ensure that Dineplan and Reservations is updated and managed effectively
Requirements:
Min Grade 12
Relevant tertiary education
Knowledge of all F&B and standards, quality presentation, service and products
