Overall Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Trade Marketing and Campaign Specialist to lead the planning and execution of go-to-market (GTM) activities, retail campaigns, and in store marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for aligning national brand campaigns with channel-specific execution, ensuring that our banking products and services are visible, engaging, and compelling at every physical and retail touchpoint. This role is key in bridging our brand strategy with commercial activation, ensuring that customers experience the brand consistently across all engagement points—especially in banking environments, kiosks, and retail partner locations.

• Understanding of South African retail and banking landscape.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset for reporting and optimisation.
• AI and Data Analytics proficiency 

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing or retail marketing.
• Experience managing POS and campaign logistics.
• Exposure to ATL/BTL marketing principles. 

Responsibilities:

Retail Campaign Execution

• Implement trade marketing campaigns across banking environments and activation sites.

• Localise national campaigns while maintaining brand consistency.

• Develop and manage POS materials and merchandising tools.

Go-To-Market (GTM) Support

• Collaborate on GTM campaigns for new launches and key initiatives.

• Plan and execute roadshows and community engagement events.

Retail Partner Coordination

• Align with retail partners on activation strategies and visibility support.

• Distribute necessary materials to partners for campaign execution.

Campaign Planning & Reporting

• Assist in trade marketing calendar planning and budget management.

• Track campaign effectiveness and channel KPIs.

• Gather feedback and incorporate learnings into planning.
