Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Soft Services Manager to oversee the delivery of cleaning, hygiene, landscaping, pest control, and related services at our Unilever Main site in KwaZulu-Natal. This role ensures service excellence, compliance with health and safety standards, and continuous improvement in line with Tsebo’s operational standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all soft services operations across the site.
  • Supervise and support soft services staff, including training and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor service delivery and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on service performance.
  • Manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external service providers to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Support emergency and disaster recovery planning and execution.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Facilities Management Diploma or similar.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in managing soft services in a facilities or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning, hygiene, and waste management standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and facilities management systems.
