• Operating AKS across global prod/DR environments, you’ll optimize clusters for performance, scale, and airtight resilience.

• Your proficiency with Kasten K10 makes business continuity real (not theoretical), and your runbooks keep teams ready for anything.

• You’ll architect smart, secure workloads using cutting-edge Kubernetes features—think RBAC, OIDC, namespace isolation, and advanced networking.

• Complex integration? Sorted: ExpressRoute, private endpoints, hybrid network peering, and cross-cloud connectivity.

Your Superpowers:

• Run, monitor, and fine-tune AKS clusters like a cloud-native ninja—across prod, DR, and multi-region.

• Own node pools, blue-green deployments, autoscaling, and secure workload segregation.

• Run enterprise-grade backup and DR using Kasten K10, ensuring data stays protected and always recoverable.

• Engineer and troubleshoot hybrid/complex Azure network setups (VNETs, NSGs, peering, firewalls) like it’s second nature.

• Automate and optimize using Bash, PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep.

• Lead the response to tough incidents, produce gold-standard documentation, and level up your team through training and mentorship.

Crucial Knowledge & Must-Have Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on AKS or enterprise Kubernetes ops (prod/DR).

• Advanced Linux system admin chops (Ubuntu/Red Hat).

• Deep Azure skills: VNETs, RBAC, Policy, Infrastructure as Code.

• Kasten K10 backup and restore.

• Mandatory certifications: MS Azure Administrator (AZ-104) AND Ubuntu Professional/Administrator OR RHCSA (or higher).

Stand Out With (Advantageous):

• CKA/CKAD certification or Kasten K10 specialist.

• Experience with Helm, blue-green deploys, enterprise-grade registries, Fortinet/Palo Alto/Kemp hybrid security.

• Awareness of compliance, regulated industry operations, and service mesh/cluster governance.
