The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for driving new sales, maintaining existing sales and client relationships and providing expert technical support for the company’s lithographic and flexographic prepress solutions. This role combines commercial acumen with hands-on technical expertise to identify client needs, recommend solutions, and ensure optimal system performance. The incumbent will act as a key liaison between customers, technical service teams, and internal departments to deliver a seamless client experience from sales through after-sales support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma or degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales or servicing of lithographic and/or flexographic prepress systems (CTP, plates, processors, RIPs, or workflows), or similar type fields
- Working understanding of prepress workflows, imaging technologies, and colour management principles
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation, calibration, and technical troubleshooting
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally

PERFORMANCE:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the lithographic and flexographic prepress markets.
- Promote, sell & support prepress systems, consumables, and workflow solutions to commercial printers, packaging converters, flexographic printers and trade shops, all done in conjunction with the company’s strategic direction and the relevant Product Managers & Commercial director.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive customer retention and growth.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to strategic business objectives.
