Job Details
Key Performance Areas:
- Supports Sales & Marketing Team in product and transport selling price determination.
- Pricing and revenue analysis relative to market segments – determination, interrogation and communication to Sales Team.
- Prepares margin and competitive analyses for major customers.
- Reviews and manages contractual escalations.
- Analysis of transport pricing report, sharing with relevant stakeholders
- Manages escalations diary.
- Manages product and transport selling price tables in JDE and communication with customers.
- Input data into TM1 and reconcile to the General ledger.
- Prepares budget and forecast selling prices and rebates.
- Rebate Reconciliations per customer, accessing under or over accrual and report to relevant stakeholders.
- Credit / debit note validation and processing.
- Reviews and improves relevant system-driven solutions and processes and leads and participates in system modifications.
- Group sales reporting – daily and monthly.
- Ensuring accurate and timeous month end commercial closure.
Minimum requirements:
- Financial Degree or relevant tertiary qualification;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accounting or relevant commercial function;
- Appropriate IT systems experience (JDE, TM1) and advanced Excel advantageous;
- JD Edwards, IBM Cognos and Cognos BI knowledge /experience will be an advantageous;
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skill, with great attention to detail;
- Working experience and knowledge of business process mapping;
- Ability to work under pressure.
