We are seeking two technically competent B2B sales professionals to grow sales of specialist fluid transfer, borehole relining, dewatering, and agricultural hose solutions across Southern Africa.

The roles will focus on:

  1. Mining, borehole rehabilitation & dewatering, and
  2. Agriculture, including manure supply and manure drag hose systems

These positions can be filled by two different specialists, but are advertised together due to the strong technical overlap in pumps, hoses, fluid dynamics, and site-based applications.

This is not a retail sales role. It requires hands-on technical understanding of pumps, boreholes, irrigation systems, slurry, manure handling, and high-demand fluid transfer environments.

We are a leading international manufacturer and supplier of high-performance fluid transfer and hose systems, serving mining, agriculture, irrigation, and industrial markets.

In agriculture, the company is a global leader, holding approximately 78% of the United States market for agricultural manure hoses, including both:

  • Manure supply hoses, and
  • Manure drag hose systems

These products are used in large-scale agricultural operations where reliability, abrasion resistance, pressure performance, and uptime are critical.

In mining and industrial markets, the company supplies borehole relining hoses, dewatering hoses, and specialist pump-connected hose systems, including some of the longest borehole lining hoses available globally.

All solutions are engineered, not commoditised, and tailored to real site conditions.

 

Key Requirements (Both Roles)

  • Proven B2B sales experience in one or more of the following sectors:
    • Mining & dewatering
    • Borehole drilling or rehabilitation
    • Agriculture, irrigation, or agri-processing
    • Industrial fluid handling
  • Strong technical understanding of pumps, hoses, liners, fittings, and fluid transfer systems
  • Ability to understand real-world failure points in hoses, pipes, liners, and fittings
  • Experience selling to commercial and industrial clients only
    (mines, farms, contractors, agri-businesses, co-ops, industrial operators — no retail)
  • Comfortable with site-based sales, including inspections, demonstrations, and technical discussions
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within Southern Africa
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into commercial value
  • Target-driven mindset with a proven sales track record
  • Proficient in CRM systems and basic MS Office
  • Matric required; a technical, agricultural, mechanical, mining, or engineering qualification is advantageous

 

Role Focus Areas

1) Mining, Borehole & Dewatering Focus

  • Sales of borehole relining hoses, dewatering hoses, and pump-connected fluid transfer systems
  • Engagement with mines, borehole contractors, dewatering specialists, and industrial operators
  • Understanding borehole depth, pump specifications, flow rates, pressures, and operating conditions
  • Supporting applications where failure results in downtime, flooding, or production loss

2) Agricultural Focus

  • Sales of manure supply hoses and manure drag hose systems
  • Engagement with large-scale farmers, agri-contractors, co-operatives, and agri-processing operations
  • Understanding slurry, manure handling, pumping distances, pressures, abrasion, and seasonal demands
  • Supporting customers where efficiency, uptime, and hose longevity directly impact profitability

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow B2B sales within the assigned sector (mining/dewatering or agriculture)
  • Identify and onboard new customers across Southern Africa
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular site visits and technical engagement
  • Assess customer applications and recommend appropriate hose and fluid transfer solutions
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders aligned with pricing and margin targets
  • Liaise with internal technical, logistics, and support teams
  • Conduct demonstrations, site trials, and basic technical training
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
  • Achieve agreed sales targets, activity levels, and profitability objectives
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, demos, and customer meetings
