Short Term Insurance Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Short Term Insurance Consultant to join our dynamic team in Aurora, Cape Town (100% officed based)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on short-term insurance products and (personal, commercial and liability) to meet clients’ insurance needs.
• Consult with existing clients and prospective clients to deliver excellent service.
• Conduct risk assessments, prepare accurate quotations, and issue policies in line with underwriting guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handle policy amendments, renewals, claims and queries promptly
• Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure retension and cross-selling opportunities.
• Stay compliant with FAIS, FSCA regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements:

• Valid RE5 and RE1 certificates (RE1 is highly advantageous).
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, as the majority of our clients are Afrikaans speaking.
• NQF Level 4/5 in Short-Term Insurance (or equivalant FAIS accredited qualification).
• Proven experience in short-term insurance/advisory (10+ years preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for client services.
• Computer literate.
