Mission

To lead Embassy Hill as a flagship The Forum venue, delivering exceptional guest experiences through thoughtful leadership, commercial discipline, and operational excellence. The General Manager is accountable for the overall performance, culture, and reputation of the venue — ensuring that every event reflects Embassy Hill’s sense of place, calm sophistication, and commitment to quality.​

Outcomes (Key Deliverables)

  • Guest Experience & Venue Reputation: Deliver consistently outstanding guest experiences that reinforce Embassy Hill’s positioning as a premium, calm, and connection-driven venue.

  • Commercial Performance & Revenue Growth: Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets through a balanced approach to sales leadership and cost management.

  • Sales Leadership & Client Relationships: Support and guide the sales process, building trusted relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and private hosts.​

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee seamless execution of all events and daily operations, ensuring Forum quality standards across all departments.

  • Team Leadership & Culture: Build, lead, and retain a high-performing team through clear leadership, coaching, and accountability.

  • Financial Oversight & Reporting: Monitor monthly financial performance and implement timely actions to improve efficiency and profitability.

  • Brand Standards, Safety & Compliance: Uphold all Forum brand standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and security requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness: Stay informed of industry trends and bring considered improvements forward while remaining true to Embassy Hill’s character.​

Collaboration

Works closely with Sales & Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure Embassy Hill’s performance and guest experience align with The Forum Company’s standards and long-term vision.​

Years of Experience:

8 years in a Hospitality environment, 3 years at a Management level​

Educational level:

Degree in Hospitality​

Other:

Corporate or luxury market experience
This role reports directly to the MD.​
