CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep production infrastructure bulletproof with non-stop monitoring and lightning-fast incident response.

Spot alerts on critical systems around the clock, sizing up severity and jumping into action with smart, independent calls

Nail root cause analysis, roll out fixes to stop repeats, and team up with devs during outages as the go-to infrastructure expert

Jump into on-call rotations, owning urgent escalations and documenting every move for smoother sails ahead

Handle maintenance and security like a pro, ensuring everything stays patched, backed up, and battle-ready.

Plan and execute maintenance windows for servers, networks, and apps, prioritising critical security patches with sharp judgement

Run health checks, validate backups, and collaborate on security controls while recommending architecture upgrades

Keep configs documented and infrastructure evolving to match the fast pace of financial tech demands

Deliver white-glove service requests that wow users and stick to SLAs.

Tackle IT requests via ITSM tools, from software installs and hardware lifecycles to vendor wrangling and complex problem-solving

Build knowledge base articles, train users on tools, and streamline onboarding/offboarding for seamless end-user and production flows

REQUIREMENTS

Bring 3+ years in IT ops or tech support, with the guts to make big calls under pressure in high-availability setups.

Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, virtualisation, networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and monitoring like Nagios or Datadog

Proficient in ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Jira), Active Directory, Office 365, backups, and disaster recovery

Sharp analytical skills for dissecting tricky issues, plus top-notch communication and customer focus

Flexible for on-call and odd hours – this is where the action happens!

Background in financial services, cloud (AWS/Azure), scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), ITIL, or certs like CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+
